Grrr

  • Jun. 17th, 2009 at 6:46 PM
night
My laptop is once again making a chirp sound every 60 seconds like the HD is trying to die.

I bought a new drive to fix this, just a few months ago. :P

Hard drives don't try to die. They just get tired of living.

Mine's in service getting a new HD installed right now. Grrr. (But thank goodness for Time Machine.)

Strange. I have never had a HD problem on a mac, ever. (I did have a brand new laptop not work from the minute I got home -- the graphics chip was bad or something, but they replaced it and I then proceeded to use that computer for years without difficulty.)

Maybe I've been lucky?
